Many people engage in network marketing - part-time and full-time. So how do you know if you are a "Professional Networker"?
Here are a few questions you can ask yourself to determine if you and your business venture can be considered "professional".
1. Do you intend to create an income? Will this be a replacement income, or a supplement to your existing income?
2. Are you profitable, or working towards profitability?
3. Do you have a business game plan in place, setting short-term and long-term goals for your business?
4. Are you clear as to "why" you're building a business, and have you incorporated your "why" into specific goals for your business?
5. Is training a consistent part of your business plan? Do you listen to training calls, audio recordings, and read materials that enable you to grow professionally?
6. Do you have a mentor who supports and trains you?
7. What professional tools have you incorporated into your business, ie. do you have a website, domain name, customized capture pages, online and offline advertising, business cards, blog website?
8. How much time do you devote to your business? Is your business in the forefront of your mind, or something you do when you have time? Do you consistently devote time every day to your business?
As you consider these questions, you will quickly determine whether you can consider yourself to be a Professional Networker. Take each question and turn it around to make a statement about your business. Develop your business game plan. Give your business a consistent effort, using the tools of the industry. Learn something new about your business and this industry every day. Find a mentor who will help you reach your goals.
