Influenza

Dear Friends,

By now you have heard that Influenza A (H1N1), also known as Swine Flu, has been upgraded by the World Health Organization to Pandemic Alert Phase 5. This afternoon we received a media alert of a child in the Houston Independent School District with a confirmed diagnosis and, sadly, one child died here in Houston yesterday.

We are all concerned about protecting our families and that’s why I wanted to share the following information with you. If you have children or grandchildren in school, aging parents, or a family member who must travel by air, or public transportation, I urge you to review this information. Then you can decide for yourself if this might be helpful to you and your family.

Wednesday evening I listened to a national conference call featuring Keith Moeller, one of the foremost experts in the use of colloidal silver, and specifically Silver Sol Technology. I have heard Keith speak live a number of times, and he has been kind enough to share his clinical research on Silver Sol Technology with me.

Silver Sol Technology has been clinically demonstrated to work against H5N1 Influenza (Bird Flu) when swallowed twice daily. In addition, New Silver Solution Gel has been shown to disinfect topically and keep hands completely sanitized for 4 hours.

Mr. Moeller stated that Silver Sol technology has not yet been clinically tested on H1N1 (Swine Flu). Having used Silver Solution for several years, I can tell you that this has been our family's first line of defense against the flu in the past.

Keith Moeller is one of founding Directors of American Biotech Labs, a biomedical technology company. He serves as Vice President and Managing Director of Research Information and Product Sales.

Prior to the establishment of American Biotech Labs, its founding members had spent years working on silver for health and well being. Their success in this field led to the creation of a new advanced colloidal silver solution, which is more effective than any of its competitors as evidenced by a broad patent for the manufacturing process in 2001 and a full patent for the colloidal silver itself (SilverSol TechnologyTM) in 2006.

American Biotech Labs have also led the way with regard to research, conducting over 50 major studies on their products and unique manufacturing technology. The success of the huge quantity of data from these studies has led to American Biotech Labs being invited to give Congressional Testimony on April 26, 2005, to members of The House International Relations Committee - Subcommittee on Africa, Global Human Rights and International Operations.

Successfully implementing the 3-way conference call

Welcome to our Automated Success Team blog. If you would like to learn more about our team, you are welcome to visit our website: BTStartNow.

One of the most underused tools in network marketing is the use of the 3-way conference call. If you're new to networking, I suspect that there are a number of reasons you may not understand the benefits of this tool.

Perhaps you're worried that your prospective team member will feel that you are not competent enough to provide them with leadership or sponsorship. Many of us come to networking from an accomplished career in other fields, and don't feel that we need others to help us answer questions or complete a presentation.

You may even be worried that your prospective team member will feel pressured if you offer to get your leader on the line with you.

The sooner you overcome these objections for yourself, the sooner this networking tool can be put to work to help you build your business. Perfecting some simple steps in the 3-way conference call will quickly give you the confidence you need to use this tool effectively.

So here are a few of the guidelines and options for you to use:

1. Use the 3-way call as a follow-up tool when you're just starting your business. This will give you the confidence that your prospective team member will have their questions answered by one of your upline leaders with more experience than you. Sometimes that means asking your sponsor's sponsor to do the 3-way call with you. Look upline until you find the right person for you to work with, and in whom you have confidence.

2. You have two choices when to have your upline expert on the line. You can call your upline first and have them on the line when you place the call to your prospective team member, or you can call your prospective team member first, and get their okay to invite your experienced member on the line. Either way is fine, but always alert your upline member before you start making calls that you may need help.

3. When you have all 3 parties on the line, make the introduction of your upline expert to your prospective member, and perhaps briefly state the questions that you understand need to be answered.

4. Share with your prospective team member a little about your upline leader, such as number of years in the business or industry, ranking in the company. Don't go overboard in your introduction. Also, share a little about your prospective team member with your upline leader. I prefer to do this in front of the prospective member so that they hear what I understand about their background, questions, etc. That way they have the opportunity to clarify.

5. Once you have completed the introductions, turn the call over to your upline leader and LISTEN. Your job is simply to listen and learn. Don't interrupt your leader as they answer the questions, unless a question is directed to you. This demonstrates your respect for your leader, and for the prospective team member.

6. Through the 3-way conference call process you will be teaching the prospective member the teamwork that is crucial to building a strong distributor network. They will quickly learn that they will not be in business by themselves, and that if they join your team, the upline leader will be available to them too.

The 3-way conference call takes practice. Remember, even very experienced networkers use the 3-way call, and it continues to reinforce team building for new members.

Personal Development

Hello and Welcome back to our Automated Success Team Blog.

We hope that the information we've posted to date has been useful as you build your business.

One of the greatest benefits of starting a home business can be your access to mentoring from some of the top leaders in the industry. You will often hear leaders talk about "personal development" being one of the side benefits they experience.

Here are just a few personal development books we've found to be a great resource whether you're just getting your business started, or you simply want to improve your networking skills. Each book will help you in a different way, and all will add to your success in this industry:

1. "Natural Selling - How to Sell Network Marketing Without Fear, Anxiety or Losing Your Friends" by Michael Oliver

2. "Psycho-Cybernetics" by Dr. Maxwell Maltz

3. "If My Product's So Great How Come I Can't Sell It?" by Kim Klaver

If you have a favorite book that has made a big difference to your business, we hope you'll add a posting.

Tapping into weekly conference calls is another way you can listen to, and learn from, people who have worked through some of the challenges you may be experiencing in your business. There is a learning curve that everyone experiences in this industry, because the skill set is slightly different than what you may learn in any other business.

The internet gives us access to training 24/7 so that we can listen at a time convenient to our schedule. So if you miss our Monday night training call, you can always listen online at: Training Call

Simply click on the date of the call you missed. We'd love to hear your feedback.
